LVN: Cancer Urgent Care, Per Diem
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Aids in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Maintains a safe patient care environment.
- Completes and maintains accurate records of patient care and equipment.
- Assists in direct and indirect patient care as assigned.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Demonstrates competence and sensitivity in caring for multicultural patients and families.
- Works effectively in a multicultural team environment and respects cultural diversity.
- Performs phlebotomy if applicable.
- Takes on more complex tasks and organizes/directs duties for the clinical team.
- Maintains high standards of performance for clinical team members.
- Assists with new employee interviews and orientation.
- Performs specialty procedures such as catheters, injections, Mohs surgery, and prepares injection medications.
- Coordinates complex care as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience as an LVN.
- Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Current LVN license to practice in the State of California.
- BLS certification.
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred).
