About the Role
This is an upscale position that focuses on providing exceptional white-glove service, defined by attentiveness, professionalism, discretion, and personalized guest care.
Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position is $16 - $18 per hour, based on prior experience.
Schedule
The work schedule for this position depends on resort business volumes and will be discussed during interviews. Open availability is recommended.

Responsibilities
- Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
- Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor; uses guest last names during interactions.
- Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location (35% of time).
- Practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette; posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks (15% of time).
- Assists guests with room changes when needed; assists with the delivery and pick-up of items to guest rooms.
- Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests (25% of time).
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries.
- Provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, and/or amenities of the facility, as well as main attractions in the area.
- Delivers messages, items, and/or guest amenities as requested (25% of time).
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen for insurance purposes.
- Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park.
- If providing valet parking or shuttle services, may be subject to additional requirements.
Skills
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s, and perform these operations using units of American money.
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems.
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- The majority of work will be performed outdoors for extended periods, including up to the entire duration of a shift.
- Subject to environmental conditions, including extreme heat and cold weather (protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes).
- Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods and may be required to run, walk, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Lifting requirements: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Travel of up to 5% may be required.
