Lumber Tagger/Handler | 3rd Shift | 11p-7a | plus $1 shift differential

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads materials
• Stacks/moves lumber
• Affixes product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with hand-held industrial stapler machine
• Attends to quality control by checking items for proper identification
• Keeps records of inventory and checks items for proper identification
• Regularly stands for extended periods and uses hands to handle materials
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds

About the Role

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of YellaWood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, seeks Lumber Taggers. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. Regular hours are 11pm-7am, with additional hours expected.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with previous production experience and lumber experience being advantageous.
