About the role
We are seeking a Lumber Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating lumber quantities needed for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Estimate lumber quantities required for construction projects
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine lumber requirements
- Communicate with clients and project managers to gather necessary information
- Prepare detailed estimates and reports
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in lumber estimation or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Qualifications
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Experience with estimating software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Skills
- Proficient in using estimating software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $50,000 per year.
Schedule
