Lubrication Technician

Safety

  • Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.
  • Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Understand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
  • Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lubrication of machinery and equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Inspect equipment for proper lubrication levels, contamination, and wear conditions.
  • Maintain and update lubrication schedules, logs, and records.
  • Identify lubrication-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collect and analyze oil and grease samples for condition monitoring (where applicable).
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of lubricants.
  • Aid in developing and improving lubrication programs and best practices.
  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to coordinate equipment servicing.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, lubrication, or related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with lubrication methods, tools, and best practices.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay based on experience + $0.75/hour night shift differential.
  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:15 AM).
  • Every other weekend off.
