Safety
- Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines.
- Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.
- Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Understand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform routine lubrication of machinery and equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
- Inspect equipment for proper lubrication levels, contamination, and wear conditions.
- Maintain and update lubrication schedules, logs, and records.
- Identify lubrication-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze oil and grease samples for condition monitoring (where applicable).
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of lubricants.
- Aid in developing and improving lubrication programs and best practices.
- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to coordinate equipment servicing.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, lubrication, or related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Familiarity: Familiarity with lubrication methods, tools, and best practices.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay based on experience + $0.75/hour night shift differential.
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:15 AM).
- Every other weekend off.
