Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance schedules according to company specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist mechanics in ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment, including construction equipment, mixers, tractors, and trailers.
- Safely perform pre-shift, post-shift inspections and report unsafe equipment conditions to supervisor.
- Maintain tools as required to perform job duties.
- Perform daily duties and any other job responsibilities as assigned by management, including helping the shop as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrates proficiency in difficult and high-pressure situations.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic hand tool knowledge.
- Ability to follow and add to safety culture to create a safe work environment.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Passes a background check, fitness for duty evaluation, and pre-employment drug testing.
- Able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements and noise.
- High school education or GED equivalent.
