About the Role

Express Technicians are in charge of vehicle maintenance and small repairs. They should be able to read, write, and communicate problem-solving ideas to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and decision making: Determining causes of operating errors and deciding how to fix the problem
• Reading comprehension: Understanding written documents concerning work-related tasks
• Writing: Communicating effectively with co-workers through proper grammar and spelling
• Communication: Effectively communicating with the team to fix each customer’s needs in a timely manner
• Give recommendations based on what the customer needs
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle, especially if it changes
• Assure that vehicles get fixed and returned clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort, convenience features, or audio system settings

Requirements

• Ability to be on foot most of the day
• Previous automotive background
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a drug test
