About the role
C.H. Robinson is seeking a strategic and analytical LTL Consulting Analyst to help expand and execute our best-in-class LTL Pricing, Benchmarking, Procurement, and Analysis offerings. In this role, you will consult directly with large LTL shippers, customer teams, and internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies, procurement solutions, and data-driven recommendations that improve cost and service outcomes. You will lead project work from scope through execution, using historical and forecasted data to identify opportunities, measure results, and communicate progress clearly to internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
- Advise large LTL shippers on procurement best practices, pricing strategy, and capacity solutions to drive cost and service improvements
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to define scope, gather requirements, and align on deliverables and project milestones
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, tracking progress, and measuring results with minimal oversight
- Design data-driven solutions and recommendations using deep LTL and multi-modal expertise
- Analyze historical and forecasted shipment data to identify trends, establish baselines, and uncover cost-saving opportunities
- Deliver clear, executive-ready updates and insights to both internal teams and external customers
- Support enterprise LTL opportunities through consultative strategy and advanced benchmarking tools
- Continuously enhance pricing models, analytics tools, and revenue management strategies
- Develop and customize reporting and pricing tools to support evolving customer and business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of supply chain experience
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and SQL querying
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and summarize data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to identify trends, patterns and outliers in supply chain data and form insights and recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present, influence, and consult with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain functions and relationships
- Knowledge of lean processes and tools for continuous improvement
