About the role

Join Black & Veatch as an Analyst in our Infrastructure Advisory Business. Our team supports a wide range of clients including water, electric, and gas utilities, oil and gas clients, data centers, and other commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivering projects for a variety of clients.
• Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights, identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Prepare reports, presentations, processes, tools, models, and other client-ready deliverables.
• Support the project team with presentation, facilitation, and note-taking during client meetings and workshops.
• Diagnose issues and develop solutions, engaging technical subject matter experts as needed.
• Develop foundational knowledge across IA solution areas and industries, with expectations to build depth in a specialization over time.
• Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Internship or work experience on an engineering project or in a consulting environment preferred.
• Ability to develop functional or technical knowledge in at least one target industry and one solution area.
• Decision-making abilities, human relations skills, and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other general software for the business.
• PC literacy with applied knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred qualifications: Internship or work experience on an engineering project or in a consulting environment.
• Preferred skills: Ability to develop functional or technical knowledge in at least one target industry and one solution area; decision-making abilities; human relations skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other general software for the business; PC literacy with applied knowledge.

Pay

$66,222.00 - $110,242.00

Schedule

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
