Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities that provide a developmentally age- and stage-appropriate curriculum
- Utilize developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education
- Six months’ related work experience in Early Childhood
- Obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation with AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire
- Certificate of completion of Abusive Head Trauma training prior to working at the center
- Ability to work effectively with multi-cultural children and families
