POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home required
- Knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment required
- Ability to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility required
- Knowledge of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan required
- Follows policies and procedures required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation
- Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations
- Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner
- Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures
- Participates in fire safety
- Participates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings
