LS EdD - Part-time Graduate Assistant - Fall 2026

About the role

The Faculty Support Graduate Assistant will work collaboratively with faculty in the Leadership Studies program to support teaching, scholarship, and program initiatives. The position is part of the Educational Doctoral Program (MU2840) located at the Marshall University South Charleston campus (MUGC) for the Fall semester.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty, including supervising laboratories under their supervision
• Grade quizzes, homework, and other projects
• Assist with other course and research‑related duties as assigned
• Serve as a teaching assistant
• Develop instructional and program resources
• Support student engagement
• Assist with event planning
• Participate in research‑related activities
• Adhere to Marshall University and the College of Education and Professional Development’s professional expectations, FERPA requirements, confidentiality expectations, and communication practices

Requirements

Required:

• Education: Must be a current LSAP Doctoral student
• Experience: Must be a current LSAP Doctoral student

Preferred:

• Education and experience (LSAP Doctoral student)

Schedule

Part‑time, 10 hours per week during the Fall semester.
