LPN Wound Care Technician

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides fundamental nursing care to clinic patients following established standards and practices. Key Responsibilities Include Managing patient care tasks such as scheduling, escorting patients, observing and reporting conditions, assisting with mobility and specimen collection.Using the nursing process to deliver care, including screenings, medication administration, and treatments.Preparing equipment, supporting providers during procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records or EMR.Administering medications safely, handling lab specimens, and adhering to infection control protocols.Managing communication between patients and providers, including answering calls and relaying instructions.Fulfilling clerical duties like filing, scheduling, and completing referrals.Maintaining equipment and understanding treatment and testing procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, licensure as an LPN, BLS certification, and at least one year of healthcare experience preferred. Skills required are excellent communication, knowledge of medical coding and terminology, and intermediate computer proficiency.
