Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for patients with acute and/or chronic wounds, ostomies, fistulas, tubes, skin, and incontinence issues.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Wound Care Clinician or providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Responsible for maintaining the standards of practice, complying with established policy and procedure, managing supplies and equipment, and promoting collaboration with medical and other staff.
• Supports the facility's mission statement, achieving customer satisfaction and identifying system problems as opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program Required

Work Experience: 2 years of clinical experience in nursing Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure or NLC/eNLC Multistate License Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Must maintain CEU's as required by the state
