Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective patient- and family-centered care under direction and supervision.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit.
• Promote personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework.
• Delegate nursing tasks to non-licensed staff members under direction.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care in conjunction with leadership.
• Apply educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care.
• Mentor and precept non-licensed staff and/or students.

Qualifications

• Required: Diploma, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Desired: One year in an acute care setting.
