LPN Weekend Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in Miami, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of LPNs and CNAs during weekend shifts to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Providing direction and guidance to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
• Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for our patients and residents
• Coordinating patient care activities, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience and outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatment, and progress
• Providing emotional support and education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 patient care coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Florida LPN license
• At least 1 year of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
• Experience working with patients who have complex medical needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
