About the LPN Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in the day‑to‑day nursing care—including physical, emotional, and social support—and medication administration for residents in the healthcare center. Work is performed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing Services, Nurse Supervisor, or Charge Nurse to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Follow all federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing care.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services, Nurse Supervisor, and Charge Nurse to maintain quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• Assist with resident activities and promote a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered, active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Friendly, sociable demeanor with a genuine love for working with the elderly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong supervisory and customer‑service skills.

Pay

Competitive starting rates of $32.94 per hour to $35.91 per hour, with a 25% weekend premium increase.

Schedule

• Part‑time position, working every weekend.
• 12‑hour shifts for flexibility and work/life balance.
• Current shift options: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm – 7:30 am.
