About the role

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an outpatient setting, providing patient care and supporting healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Document patient care, collect and share patient data (vital signs, history, chief complaint).
• Assist with surgical procedures, tests, and treatments.
• Evaluate patient needs and risks.
• Assist in evaluating supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements including JCAHO standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program with a current license in the state.
• Certification in Infection Control and BLS (can be obtained at hire).
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to react effectively in emergencies and stay current with nursing practices.
