Summary/Objective
The ideal candidate should be an LPN or a Medical Assistant.
Essential Functions
- Identifies and evaluates patient needs via telephone triage.
- Administers medication, including injections, and documents as required.
- Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs, providing necessary instruction.
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergency situations.
- Adheres to Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting patient information.
- Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office.
- Affords assistance to physicians with medical office procedures.
- Maintains the integrity of the office environment.
Requirements
LPN Specialist Requirements
- Required Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing; Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- PREFERRED: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements
- Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years.
- Required Certification: Current BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
