LPN Shift Supv - Fulltime - Day - PART-TIME/CASUAL (12HRS)

About the role

The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community. This role involves providing direct care to residents, including managing their activities of daily living and administering medications, while also leading the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians
• Provide care and assistance to residents in managing their ADLs and medications
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director of Wellness
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and follow the Director's instructions
• Lead the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness
• Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (preferred)
• Excell in prioritizing, multi-tasking, and working independently

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable, and observant
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders
