About the role

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking LPNs and RNs for a night shift position at Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, NE. Located in the Firethorn neighborhood, Hillcrest Firethorn is a modern post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and clinical support to residents
• Maintain a calm, safe, and organized care environment
• Respond to resident needs, urgent situations, and changes in condition
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Support resident assessments, care planning, and communication with the interdisciplinary team
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, visitors, and team members
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely within scope of practice
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to appropriate clinical leadership, physicians, and family members as needed

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license in the state of Nebraska
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or senior living experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work well with residents, families, team members, and providers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation
• A calm, flexible, and professional approach in stressful situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care
• Comfort using technology and clinical resources efficiently and effectively
• A team-first mindset and commitment to resident-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Nebraska
• CPR certification preferred or required based on community standards
