About the role

  • Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider’s orders.
  • Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
  • Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation, including assessing for impairment.
  • Ensure medication count is accurate and completed daily.
  • Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
  • Participate in nursing team meetings and cross-treatment meetings.
  • Connect with patients, offering empathy and support to those struggling.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state of practice or a multi-state compact status license.
  • License must be in good standing, unencumbered, and active. Disciplinary actions, if applicable, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills; experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
  • Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.

Schedule

Monday–Friday; 4:30am–1:00pm
