Day in the Life of a LPN/RN

• Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider's orders.
• Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
• Carefully coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
• Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation, including assessing for impairment.
• Ensure medication counts are accurate and completed daily.
• Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
• Participate in nursing team meetings and cross-treatment meetings.
• Connect with patients, offering true empathy and a listening ear to those struggling with opioid use disorder.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license.
• Licenses should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active. Disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
• Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.

Hours and Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 4:45am–12:30pm
