About the role

Primary duty is to provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or medical doctor. Services include assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person-centered care using specialized knowledge and skills, and management of client risk and safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Valid Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• CPR certification
• Ability to perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training
• Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services
• Computer proficiency
• Eligibility to participate in state or federally funded programs such as Medicaid
• Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurability under the corporate policy

Pay

Base pay ranges between $23.5846 to $25.4279 per hour, based on experience.
