LPN - Community Crisis Stabilization - Relief

About the role

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a relief basis to join their community crisis stabilization program and acute care residence. The position involves assisting the nurse manager with filling physician orders, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs. Additionally, the LPN will provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to help consumers maintain their physical and emotional health, live safely in the community, and develop skills for independent living.

Responsibilities

• Occasional visits to people served in the community to assess their needs

Requirements

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Basic computer fluency (Microsoft Office)
• Driver's license required
• Must be able to lift ten pounds
• LPN certification required
• One year minimum experience in the mental health field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Massachusetts LPN license

• Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment
• Experience working with individuals in crisis

Pay

• $36.07 hourly base rate
• Additional pay rates for weekends ($12/hourly), evenings ($2/hourly), and overnight shifts ($3/hourly)
