LPN - Regional Float Pool - Full Time - Nights - Mercy Southeast (CapeGirardeau) and Surrounding Communities

Role Overview

The Regional Float Pool LPN provides individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing theoretical knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in accordance with nursing standards. They will float between multiple hospital facilities in the East Region, supporting diverse patient populations and units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs
• Deliver direct nursing care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Adapt to various clinical environments including Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more
• Build clinical assessment and communication skills while working with different teams

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license
• Recent bedside experience (minimum one year for Med/Surg, two years for critical care or ED)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (depending on unit), and IV certification
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient care tasks
