About the role
Assist the Registered Nurse in providing individualized patient care using the nursing process in psychiatric services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering patient care in psychiatric settings.
- Implement nursing interventions and support treatment plans.
- Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing.
- Previous experience in hospital or nursing home settings preferred.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Vermont.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Skills
- Ability to perform life-saving measures when necessary.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with diverse customer groups.
- Moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
