About the role

Aspire Health and Community Services seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. The CCS program provides short-term stabilization and support to adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document clients' self-administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.
  • Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
  • Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being.
  • Deliver strength-based, solution-focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans.
  • Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor’s degree).
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care.
  • One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with recovery-oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred.

Qualifications

  • Part-time schedule available, including Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday shifts from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • Shift differentials apply for the Stabilization Unit position, with rates ranging from $1.00 to $2.00 based on shift time.

Pay

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Salary Range $31.25 - $36.06 USD.

Schedule

  • Part-time, 16 hours per week.
  • Available schedules include:
    • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Saturday & Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    • Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
