About the Role
Provides routine, standardized nursing care to patients under physician supervision, assisting with examinations, procedures, and patient education.
- Schedules diagnostic tests, referrals, and hospital admissions
- Maintains medical supplies and equipment
- Documents vital signs, medical history, and encounter data accurately in patient records
- Communicates with physicians regarding patient status and schedule changes
- Calls in prescriptions as ordered
- Prepares exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness
- Handles patient communications and screens calls
- Completes necessary forms for insurance purposes
- Performs other assigned duties to support patient care and clinic operations
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or recognized program equivalency
- Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing authority
- No prior experience required
- Ability to promote positive health behaviors and maintain equipment and supplies

This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor or manager.
