About the role

Provides routine, standardized nursing care under physician supervision, assisting with examinations, procedures, and patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and direct patient care.
• Schedule diagnostic tests, referrals, and hospital admissions.
• Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment functionality.
• Document vital signs, medical history, and patient encounter data accurately.
• Call in prescriptions as per physician orders.
• Educate patients on health behaviors and self-care skills.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and equipment.
• Handle patient-related telephone calls, screening for physician action.
• Complete medical history forms for insurance purposes.
• Inform physicians of schedule changes and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing or equivalent program.
• Current LPN license in the practicing state or recognized multistate license.

Skills

• No prior experience required; ability to perform basic nursing tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
