About the role

Provides routine, standardized nursing care under physician supervision, assisting with examinations, procedures, and patient management.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Arrange diagnostic testing, referrals, and hospital admissions.
• Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Document vital signs, medical history, and encounter data accurately.
• Administer prescriptions as ordered by physicians.
• Educate patients on health behaviors and self-care.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and instruments.
• Manage clinical telephone calls and record insurance-related forms.
• Notify physicians of schedule changes and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN program or recognized program equivalency.
• Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN or the state of practice.
• No prior experience required; licensure must be maintained.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices, patient care procedures, and ability to follow protocols.

Additional Info

Non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with variable work shifts. Location is at a healthcare facility.
