About the Role
We are seeking a licensed nurse to oversee daily resident care in a senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and implement resident care
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants
- Participate in care plan development and updates
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document nursing activities accurately
- Report changes in residents' conditions
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Respond to emergencies
- Ensure residents' rights and safety are protected
Supervisory Duties
- Supervise staff
- Serve as charge nurse during shifts
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle stress
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push/pull up to 90 pounds
