LPN - Primary Care

Location: Main Campus - Abingdon, VA

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

About the role

This position is geared for resourceful individuals who are skilled in assisting and providing support to assigned physicians and nurse practitioners. Responsibilities include conducting medical screenings, administering medications as needed, coordinating referrals to primary care providers and/or health department for consumers attending various programs at HCS, obtaining, reviewing, and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner, and entering accurate consumer information into the Electronic Health Record System.

Schedule

Monday-Friday – No Weekends or Nights

Pay

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience

Requirements

• Current/Active License as an LPN with the privilege to practice in the State of Virginia
• Experience in a Psychiatric setting with adults and/or children and adolescents preferred
