About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supporting outpatient clinics in a team-oriented ambulatory care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support by obtaining patient histories, vital signs, and assisting with examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- Prepare and collect laboratory specimens, administer medications and vaccines, and assist providers with minor surgical and diagnostic tests.
- Ensure accurate documentation, maintain a clean environment, and facilitate effective communication between patients and providers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from a nursing specialty training program.
- New and experienced LPNs are welcomed.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, maintain accuracy in documentation, and promote patient safety and comfort.
Key Duties
- Support diagnosis and treatment, follow up on diagnostic tests, prepare patients for examinations, and ensure readiness of examination rooms.
- Execute and document patient communication, respond to patient inquiries, and support provider efficiency.
Position Details
Full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical environment. Adherence to policies and procedures is essential.
