About the role

Provides primary clinical support in an outpatient setting, assisting providers with diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient medical history, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations
• Assists with minor procedures and diagnostic tests
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens
• Administers medications and vaccines
• Maintains a clean and prepared examination environment
• Ensures timely communication with providers

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program
• Ability to provide care to patients across designated age ranges
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Adherence to scope of practice guidelines
