LPN - Practical Nurse - Acute Care Trauma Unit

Role Overview

This position is for an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, while assessing patient needs across physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation within scope of practice and unit standards.
• Educate patients and families, address discharge planning, and promote safety and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and resolve patient needs proactively.
• Participate in evidence-based practice decisions and provide input on team performance.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students in a professional manner.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Ability to provide compassionate, comprehensive care and coordinate patient interactions effectively.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills.

Additional Information
