About the role

Licensed Practical Nurse responsible for delivering patient care in an outpatient setting, collaborating with healthcare providers, and utilizing the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Document all patient care activities accurately.
• Gather patient data such as vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients for procedures, tests, and treatments, and assist healthcare providers in assessing patient needs.
• Identify risk factors related to age, medications, and physical condition.
• Assist in evaluating supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Current license and registration to practice in the state.
• Certifications in Infection Control and BLS (can be obtained at hire).
• Effective communication skills, ability to perform basic calculations, and react appropriately in emergencies.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
