LPN - PHYSICIAN OFFICE NURSE - BEEBE SURGICAL ONCOLOGY

Responsibilities

• Accurate assessments of patients are performed and documented efficiently.
• Accurately documents the continuum of care.
• Demonstrates safe and accurate technical skills.
• Demonstrates competency in performing all office/medical procedures.
• Routinely demonstrates proper technique in operating office/medical equipment.
• Triage patients accurately and complies with provider instructions.
• Demonstrates competency in providing quality patient care.
• Accurately follows provider directions.
• Handles specimens using proper technique and correctly labels them for lab transfer.
• Conscious of biohazard safety and properly prepares specimens for courier transfer.
• Performs all nursing duties using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Performs all job duties within the scope of practice and organization’s policies/procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year L.P.N./R.N. experience, preferably in a Doctor’s Office.
• L.P.N./R.N., graduate of a nursing school.
• CPR/AED certified.
• Currently licensed as L.P.N. or R.N. in the State of Delaware.
• Competencies: Clear communication skills (written and verbal), knowledge of basic computer programs, ability to keep confidential information regarding patients, team members, and visitors, skills to provide customer service to patients, team members, and visitors.
• Certification: BLS - Basic Life Saving (American Heart Association).
• Education: LPN program graduate.
• Other Information: Entry wage range $23.67/Hr., maximum wage range $36.69/Hr.
