Summary

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with prescribed hospital policy under the direction of the R.N.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents and families
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical equipment required in specific units
• Work with patient charts, nursing care plans and computers

Requirements

• Demonstrate ability to communicate with parents and families
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical equipment required in specific units
• Ability to work with patient charts, nursing care plans and computers

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
• Experience: 2 years experience preferred; experience in pediatrics preferred

Skills

• BCLS certified
• Current Alabama LPN Licensure required

Benefits

• Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 5:30am-2pm
