About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to work part-time in the 4 South Department at Cabell Huntington Hospital. The position involves assisting the Registered Nurse in providing optimal nursing care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Integrates skills and knowledge to provide patient-centered nursing care to meet the patient needs.
- Affords assistance in preventing illness and injury, maintaining wellness, and providing comfort to patients.
- Collaborates with the Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care.
Requirements
- Current West Virginia license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Completion of an approved LPN program.
- One year of recent practical nursing experience preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
