LPN - Per Diem/PRN

About the role

This is a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position providing patient care under supervision or RN direction. You will utilize the nursing process to ensure quality care, patient rights, and confidentiality while coordinating patient care across departments. The role involves floating between multiple facilities and working in diverse units such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision or direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Coordinate patient care across various departments and facilities.
• Float between multiple healthcare facilities as needed.
• Work in diverse units, including Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical.
• Ensure adherence to quality care standards, patient rights, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current LPN licensure.
• Recent bedside nursing experience (1 year for Medical-Surgical; 2 years for other specialties).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and IV certification are preferred.

Physical demands

• Ability to lift and move patients or equipment.
• Prolonged standing and mobility throughout shifts.

Schedule

Various shifts available with the flexibility to work where and when preferred. No weekend or holiday requirements.
