LPN - Pediatric Nurse

About the role

The nurse provides skilled nursing care/treatment to clients per Physicians Orders and Plan of Care, documents nursing actions, administers and monitors medication, conducts nursing assessments, implements nursing support, and ensures compliance with physician's orders.

Responsibilities

• Documents nursing actions
• Administers and monitors medication
• Conducts nursing assessments as needed
• Implements nursing support in a home setting
• Addresses health needs with Director or Nursing/Nurse Supervisor/Branch Manager
• Participates in staff meetings and in-services
• Ensures compliance with physician’s verbal orders and medical reports

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted license in the state of the operation
• CPR professional certification
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred

• Skilled in providing nursing care
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
