End of month checks
- Checks for expired supplies and medication
- Maintains inventory of exam/procedure rooms
- Orders supplies as needed
Exam/procedure room & equipment cleaning
- Cleans exam/procedure room after each patient
- Cleans equipment after each patient
Education
- Provides education as indicated after evaluating the learning needs of the patient and/or family
Other responsibilities
- Schedules patient testing and pre-certifies if insurance requires
- Notifies patients of test results (per physician instruction) and follow-up
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid license as Licensed Practical Nurse in CT
- BLS Certification
- Excellent customer service / communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position preferred
