LPN (Part-Time)

About the role

This part-time position supports Spero Health’s mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” within an integrated team providing counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment. Spero Health believes better outcomes are achieved by treating the whole person through integrated care.

Schedule

3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate medical services for all patients within the center.
• Assist and be responsible for patients during appointments.
• Dispense and reconcile daily controlled substance medication in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
• Answer incoming calls and check voice messages regularly.
• Perform urine drug screens, take vitals, and assist with patient evaluations.
• Call in patient medication as directed by Physician/Mid-level Provider.
• Input accurate patient information into the electronic health record.
• Send prior-authorizations to insurance companies.
• Review the Prescription Monitoring Database.
• Provide education and resource information regarding medication.
• Perform phlebotomy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Experience with labs, blood draws, and injections required.
• Experience in an OTP licensed clinic preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
