Responsibilities

• Affirms residents’ health through physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Involves in the care planning process.
• Serves as a supervisor for LPNs and CNAs.
• Communicates with physicians about resident health changes, test results, etc.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards and company policies.
• Trains residents and families on health-related topics.
• Completes required forms and adheres to state and federal regulations.
• Exhibits a caring attitude, recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid state license as an LPN/LVN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of required Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
