Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education and licensure.
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice, with ongoing compliance with licensing requirements.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 pounds), and perform patient handling tasks.
- New or experienced LPNs are eligible.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- IV certification within one year of hire.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or unit-specific credentials may be required based on the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing skills to deliver compassionate patient care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure professional accountability for assigned patients.
