LPN Outpatient

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive nursing care within a psychiatric outpatient setting, focusing on medication management, patient education, and clinical support. Key Responsibilities Administers and reviews medications, responds to refill requests, and monitors for side effects.Performs venipuncture, interprets lab results, and reports abnormal findings.Offers education to consumers and families about psychiatric conditions and medications.Documents clinical activities, updates patient records, and ensures compliance with policies.Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, develops treatment plans, and provides emergency care.Engages in supervision, seeks clinical feedback, and enhances professional skills.Maintains a respectful, compassionate approach towards consumers, visitors, and colleagues.Completes administrative duties, participates in performance improvement, and ensures licensure and training requirements are met. Qualifications: Current LPN license in Alabama required.
