LPN Outpatient Addiction Services

Location: Lee Health – 2776 Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901

About the Role

Lee Physician Group is seeking a compassionate, dependable LPN to support patients receiving Addiction Medicine services. We value strong communication skills, teamwork, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

• Behavioral Health or Addiction Medicine experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience administering injections is highly desirable, as the department frequently administers long-acting injectable medications.
• Experience with urine drug screening (UDS) and related clinical processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support within the Addiction Medicine department and take ownership of the LPN role in a collaborative clinical environment.
• Perform and document selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired outcomes.
• Support the organization’s vision and mission.
• Apply knowledge of patients’ age and cultural diversity in the provision of care.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved vocational/practical nursing program.
• No prior experience required; qualified individuals will complete a competency assessment.
• Proof of current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (minimum 90 days post-hire).
• 30-hour IV Course may be required based on specialty.
• Current LPN license in the State of Florida.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.

Pay

$22.34 – $29.04 per hour (minimum to midpoint pay rate).

Schedule

Full-time, Shift 1: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
