Pay

• RN Registered Nurse: $39.40 per hour, starting wage $36.00 per hour, plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay
• LPN Practical Nurse: $31.55 per hour, starting wage $28.15 per hour, plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay

  About the role

  Award-winning team at Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab providing specialized care in various areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology.

  Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs and implement care as necessary using the latest technology.
  • Part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
  • Empowerment to make decisions based on patient needs.
  • Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families about medication changes, treatment plans, and patient conditions.
  • Provide preventative and supportive care focusing on the physical and psychological well-being of patients.
  • Oversight of the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

  Requirements

  • A current license to practice as an RN in Michigan or LPN in Michigan.
  • CPR certification.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
  • High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to difficult problems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
  • Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
