About the role

Join our skilled nursing team at Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center, a Bronze National Quality award winner. As an RN or LPN, you’ll provide specialized care in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You’ll assess patient needs, implement care plans, and work with the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of reports (e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and recovery through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (or higher).
• High level of analytical ability to create personalized care plans and solve complex problems.
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering compassionate, innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset with dedication to supporting colleagues.

Pay

• Starting wage: $38.55 per hour (Base: $34.15 + $3.40 hazard pay + $1.00 shift premium for 3rd shift).
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

Part-time positions available on all shifts, including rotating weekends and some holidays. We accommodate scheduling needs where possible.
